installation-report software package provides system installation report, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install installation-report
installation-report is installed in your system.
Make ensure the installation-report package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep installation-report *
You will get with installation-report package name, version, architecture and description in a table
